INNER WILD Botanica Mitts

Sometimes outside your hands get cold but you want to be touching nature, feeling the texture of leaves and pebbles. INNER WILD Botanica Mitts are practical as well as lovely.

They are cozy-warm in pure wool with garter stitch around your knuckles and stocking stitch running up towards your elbow. Of course, you can take your thumb out of the thumb hole and also wear these warmers as sleeves. You might prefer no thumbhole and knitting your Botanica Mitts in the round. This super-easy Botanica Mitts pattern is a great basic fingerless mitts design for all chunky yarns.

You can adapt it in all kinds of creative ways. Other yarns – try holding several fingering and textured yarns together, thick and thin hand spun or rough and rustic wool. This design is great when you want to let the yarn be the hero. Other stitches – you can also play with your knitting stitches, for example, try moss instead of garter stitch or mix up stocking stitch and garter rows.
